I'm James Woodward, a local Buxton lad, and I've lived here my whole life. I started my school journey at Hardwick Square Infant School, then Mosley Road, before finishing up at Buxton Community School. Being an active part of the whole High Peak has always been important to me.

After school, I completed a joinery apprenticeship at Stockport College. I went on to work as a joiner for 17 years, running my own company for nine of those years, and completing countless large and small projects throughout the High Peak. My joinery training & experience taught me the professionalism, precision and dedication that I bring to my work every day.

I love hands-on work and this led me to locksmithing. After taking a course for domestic locks, I began trading as a locksmith four years ago, and it's a job I truly love. I recently expanded my skills even further by completing an auto locksmithing course at Hickleys in Somerset, so I can help with with both properties and vehicles.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I've been happily married to my wonderful wife, Jessica, for 10 years, and we have three amazing kids: Max, Rex, and baby Beau. We live in Buxton, and our weekends are often spent enjoying a stroll through the Pavilion Gardens, which usually ends with a coffee and a trip to Mr Simms sweet shop.

My eldest son, Max, and I are big football fans. We love going to Silverlands to see Buxton play or, if we're lucky, heading to Old Trafford to cheer on the mighty Reds. As a family of five, there's always something going on, and we're always looking for new ways to entertain the kids, whether at home or on holiday.
